At the 2013 CES show, the newly fashioned BSC-100m and its sibling, the BSC-60s Stereo amplifier, were introduced sporting a refined cosmetic look, along with the LL-1s preamplifier as a concept product. The LL-1s was intended to be the sonic partner to the BSC-60s and 100m power amplifiers. Shortly after BSC's return from the CES show it was apparent that despite the performance of the amplifiers being well beyond their respective price tag, BSC Audio struggled to gain mainstream acceptance. It became abundantly clear from this market experiment that a value/ performance biased product would not succeed on its own accord despite its well noted performance.

Thus the BSC design team began the process of redefining their product platform. After scrapping the LL-1s preamplifier, a "clean slate" enterprise that incorporated the internal circuit design and the external visual mechanisms of our amplifiers and preamplifiers had commenced. Benefited by what we had accomplished from our previous efforts, this new initiative afforded us the opportunity to imagine new products that surpassed any previous accomplishment not only in performance, but in visual appeal as well.

The BSC-100m doubles its 8 ohm rated output power into 4, 2 and 1 ohm respectively producing 800 watts continuously with a maximum continuous output of over 1,200 watts. A second transformer is provided for the soft turn-on and other low level circuits to allow the amplifier to be activated either by a 12 volt trigger source or via the front panel switch. The BSC-100m draws less than 2 watts in standby mode. Critical audio signals are preserved using discrete, complimentary and DC coupled input circuits. Signal paths are kept short and pass through the least amount of circuitry required to obtain the desired result. All the components meet or exceed military standards and are over specified to promote long life expectancy. The output stage is comprised of eight 230V, 17A, 200W output devices coupled to 4 massive heatsink towers optimized to disperse the heat of the 100 watts pure Class A power over a wide cross sectional area effectively reducing the overall chassis temperature. Easily accessed from the front panel rotary switch, the BSC-100m offers the user an option to quickly reduce Class A amplifier bias to a half power 50W class A mode and further to a very low power ECO mode.

Borrowing the power supply capacity and chassis structure from the BCS-100m, the Stereo BSC-60s is a compact version of its monaural counterpart. Splitting the immense power supply into two distinct halves and coupling it to independant and isolated driver and output stages completes this potent stereo varient. Starting with a hearty 60 Watts Class A power per channel the BSC-60s can easily double its respective output power into 1 ohm producing a respectable 600 watts a channel. An integrated bias control switch manages the bias level for both channels independantly.
